Colorado Kodiaks come out of Hibernation in Minnesota! The Kodiaks arrived in Minnesota with one goal in mind; to show the State of Hockey what Colorado is made of... lets just say it was a BIG success! In the first weekend of the Warrior Cup, the 95, 96 & 98 Kodiak teams played their hearts out. Our 95 team found themselves in the 3rd place game on Sunday after losing a tough battle to last years Warrior Cup winners The Edge, a AAA summer ice program in Minnesota 4-3. The disappointment only lasted a short time as the 95 team went on to take home the 3rd place trophy by beating Team Bauer, another Tier - 1 Minnesota program. Our 96 team had a great experience against Minnesota teams as well. After losing to the Northern Wings 4-2, the 96 team went on to beat the Minnesota Total Hockey program 8-2 and The Edge 5-2 which was good enough to get them into the consolation game. Joined by some Minnesota talent, our 98 team won their consolation game on Sunday and had a blast! - Check back soon for more information on the results from the Warrior Cup! |
